Hi, I’m Kemal. I am a mechanical engineer, photographer, and lifelong learner with a passion for understanding how complex systems work.
Professionally, I lead complete vehicle validation activities in the commercial vehicle industry, where engineering, testing, data, and problem solving come together. My work focuses on evaluating vehicles in real-world conditions, understanding why things fail, and improving products through systematic analysis.
Over the years, I’ve built many small tools and applications to support my engineering work—automating workflows, analyzing data, and turning it into something legible. Programming, for me, is not a profession but a way of thinking: a tool for experimenting, solving problems, and bridging the gap between ideas and practical solutions.
I build systems. Sometimes those systems are made of steel, sometimes of software, and sometimes of ideas.
Outside of work, photography is one of my greatest interests. I shoot with a rangefinder, which suits the way I like to slow down and look—exploring the world with the same curiosity that drives my engineering: paying attention to details, observing patterns, and trying to understand the stories hidden beneath the surface.
This website is my digital garden—a place where I collect ideas, photographs, notes, books, experiments, and projects. It serves as both a personal archive and a public notebook for things I find interesting, useful, or worth remembering.
